Saint Gautama Buddha & His Teachings in India

Sathya Sai Baba (ishable food) is a vegetarian king, residing in Kerala in India. He's considered as the patron saint of children. He attained enlightenment while he was a child in a small home on the left bank of the river Ghagrant. When he went to the parlor to meet his master, the instructor told him to not take food to himself. But Baba refused and his teacher explained that since he had already left home to find his worthy path, it had been better for him to feed others.

Following this adventure, Sathya moved to the jungle and spent the upcoming few decades alone. When he returned to the sacred land of his master, Lord Krishna, he began to read the sacred books. 1 day, Baba chose to see the book of Gautama Buddha. Hearing the Gautama's teaching, he became a follower of the Buddhist monks. Sathya was blessed by the Gautama with a knack of discerning and that he moved on to spread the understanding of Gautama Buddha to his fellow beings who followed the route of Buddhism in India.

As a member of the Bahu household, Sathya did away with all the lust of life and became the Lord Krishna. He was given the triple crown (kitting), the garland of roses and lotus, as well as the mind of a bunny (pratipancha). Because of the wisdom, power and knowledge imparted by Sathya, people began to turn towards yoga and other celestial exercises. Sathya was the very first to introduce these religious practices to the king of Magadh, Raja Chandra Agni. Sathya with his guru advised the king to adopt yoga techniques for internalization of the divinity in him. This was the birth of the discipline of Chanakya or Jnana Yoga.

When Sathya moved to Kashi, he succeeded in converting the people of the region into followers of the Lord. This occurred when he awakened Gautama Buddha's teachings to a dense crowd of devotees. When this group went to the abode of Lord Karthikeyan, they discovered the previous monarch had turned into a recluse. Sathya then made peace with the blossom and entered his sanctuary Sathya. Later on, Sathya established his own order of monks devoted to the celestial virtues.

The erstwhile capital of the erstwhile kingdom of Magadh, Sathya is currently known as Uravakonda. The most important temple situated here is the Sathya granth sahib, which will be a spiritual monument dedicated to the great sage Gautama Buddha. The word"urava" literally signifies"what is profound." This is the reason why devotees visit this location. Lord Gautama had reached Nirvana after spending twenty five years in purgatory.

The term"sathya" here actually denotes"what is holy." Therefore, Sathya is one of the few areas where you can still locate a temple using a Brahma stated. Lord Gautama had a Brahma nadi at Sathya. The Sathya granth sahib is devoted to Lord Gautama with his mother and elder brother Kapilav (also known asvas) and his two sisters.
